Today was a busy and fun day so I’m getting the daily post in just under the wire. This morning involved planning my final Christmas shopping spree of the season. This required a lot of internetting and a handful of phone calls. You see, I thought I had ordered a certain gift for Mr. B online, but it turns out I never actually paid for it and it is too late to ship it so… that took some figuring out.
After the plans were in place, I headed to Spaulding Rehabilitation (my dream employer) to take part in a Christmas concert with Keith Lockhart and a hodge podge of singers and instrumentalist. At first I was nervous because of our lack of rehearsal, but it ended up being so much fun! I remember many many hours of caroling with my high school a cappella group so this brought back some amusing memories.
After a little bit of eating and socializing with some ladies from my program, I headed into Boston for a big gift scavenger hunt. Then I met Mr. B for dinner and The Hobbit. It was my first 3D movie and in spite of the very slight headache I now have, it was quite entertaining. Now it’s just wrapping all the presents and I’m off to bed!
