New Life

I haven’t blogged since I got back from Thailand because the last week has been madness.  Even this post is gonna be a quick one, unfortunately…

I got in from Thailand on Friday, relaxed all day Saturday, and did errands and cleaning and all that other good stuff on Sunday.  On Monday I had a full day of classes.  On Tuesday I started my first outplacement.

In Speech-Language Pathology, students are required to practice their skills in three different clinical settings (school, adult, other) before they can graduate.  This semester, I am working 30+ hours/week at two hospitals on the North Shore.  I am also taking 5 courses, split between the whole day Monday and two other evenings.  Needless to say, I will be busy this semester, and it may not stop for the entire next year.  Between the jet lag and waking up at 5:30am to avoid being late for my new “job,” I haven’t done much but work, school, and sleep for the last week.

I hope I’ll adjust to all this change soon!  I got lucky in the fact that I only work until 2pm on Fridays, so that is the one day I can definitely cook a good dinner for B and me.  Tonight, I made something a little special!

Thanks for sticking with me through it all!
