If you’re looking for something low key to do on a summer Sunday in Boston, consider the SoWa Open Market. This market has several parts. The first is a farmer’s market, with an excess of delicious dips, chips, and treats to sample. The second is a craft market surrounded by a ring of delicious local food trucks. The third is a huge indoor flea market that’s open every Sunday all year round.
I went with a friend a few weeks ago, and it was a very pleasant way to spend the day. We tried some yummy foods and admired the interesting artisans. We enjoyed a tasty lunch from the Bon Me truck. The day was dang hot, but some iced teas helped keep us cool.
At the flea market, I managed to accidentally kick a wooden box and get a pretty nasty splinter in my toe, but as long as you avoid a similar incident, you should have a nice time at the market on a Sunday!
