Mr. B always breaks his spaghetti in half before he puts it in the pot. It fits nicely. It cooks evenly. I prefer to leave spaghetti strands as long as possible for maximum fork twirl-ability. This is just one of those itty bitty compromises we come across all the time, depending who’s putting the spaghetti in the pot.
Since you now know my love of spaghetti twirling, you won’t be surprised when I tell you I was terribly excited to discover the existence of 3 foot long spaghetti. Yeah, you heard me right. 3 foot long spaghetti!!
I must get my hands on some of this stuff. If you see it in a store in the Boston area, please let me know. Also, let me know if you have any ideas on how you could evenly cook such a thing!
