Mr. B and I have an unhealthy obsession with Cheez-It®s. They have this sort of salty bitterness to them that makes it hard to stop once you’ve started. (Maybe it’s umami?) For the most part, we try to avoid buying them because they disappear so fast it’s kind of disgusting.
Anyway, bearing that in mind and knowing that Mr. B and I have been on a deep fryer kick these last few weeks, this recipe sounds kind of awesome: Deep-Fried Chicken Fingers with a Crispy Cheez-It® Crust.
Even the most die hard foodies like gross stuff sometimes… Right?
